Ladies October Newsletter

November 8, 2017

Dear Ladies

A few golfing events to report as follows:

Captains' Mixed Away Day

On Thursday 5 October 28 players battled it out for the Captains' v Vice Captains Trophy at Aldersey Green Golf Club in Cheshire.  The course was much admired and enjoyed, although there had been a flash flood throughout Cheshire the night before!  Nonetheless, on the day the weather was fine and dry until we all were back in the clubhouse!  This year's winners were the Vice Captains' Team.  The trophy was handed over by last year's winners The Captains (Vice Captains 2016).

Most Improved Golfer

The last trophy of the season to be awarded.

The winner for 2017 is Sara Caldwell.

The runner up, Lynn Allatt.

Many congratulations!

Wear it Pink

On Tuesday 24 October the annual Wear It Pink event took place.  The outfits were spectacular and an amazing £700 was made for the Pink Charity.  An article with photos is to be found on the website via the link below:

Winter tees are now in place and the Eclectic competitions are underway.

Looking ahead here are some dates for the diary:

I look forward to seeing you at the clubhouse or on the course soon and in the meantime send,

Kind regards and best wishes
