Welcome to Golf Societies

At High Legh we do everything we can to make your society's day a resounding success. It doesn't matter whether you are a smaller party or one of our bigger societies you are important to us and our staff will work with you to ensure everything goes smoothly.

We offer several packages including meals from as little as £30 per golfer. Alternatively we can also customise a package to cover your own needs if necessary. Societies can be booked on most days depending on tee availability but the most popular days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. For information on our summer packages click here, winter packages click here or our specials click here.

"I must mention that the food we enjoyed was excellent, reasonably priced and beautifully served to the extent where we had cause to drag your cook out of kitchen and give him a standing ovation, seemingly much to his embarrassment"…

Barclays and Teradata Partner for Charity

Golfers took to the fairways of High Legh Park Golf club On Thursday 23rd of June in the 2nd Annual Barclays Support Services Charity Golf Day, raising money for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation and Boomerang Northwest, a children's charity based in Bury.

Building on the success of last years event at Carden Park, this years event was even bigger with more golfers and the addition of a 9 hole Texas Scramble played with PowerPlay rules to compliment the 18 hole team event in the afternoon played off the challenging Championship tees.

Paul Underwood the organiser said "Once again we have had great support from Barclays and our event sponsors Teradata (a world leader in Data Warehouse technologies), It was great to see the positive changes they are making at High Legh starting to come to fruition, the staff at the club were very attentive and the day went off without a hitch, I am so pleased with the amount we raised and the complimentary feedback from the players has been flooding in". The winning team was one of the teams from Teradata and the real winners were the charities.

The event was open to golfers of all abilities and with the Barclays £ for £ matching scheme the total has reached nearly £3000, not bad for a days work. Paul is hoping that next years event is even bigger and is looking to add a few more corporate sponsors and teams, if you would like to be involved email him at paul.underwood(at)barclays.com.
