High Legh Park Golf Club

clubhosue_new.jpgBeing founded in 1998 the High Legh Park Golf Club is a very modern progressive golf club. From the very start it embraced the concept of equality but fused it with many of the traditions of older established golf clubs.

Though it still for instance has the traditional Mens, Ladies and Seniors sections with their own captains anybody can play in any competition they wish to providing they have the qualifying handicap requirements for that competition. This is particularly advantageous to working couples and working women who want to play in weekend competitions.

The Club is also very welcoming to visitors of all handicap abilities. Indeed it has in the past been a welcoming host to two professional players on their way up the ladder who have recently gone on to win Major Championships.

The policy towards the course is equally progressive with declared intent to continuously improve and develop to ensure that High Legh remains one of the best courses in Cheshire to play golf on. There is also a policy of continually seeking ways of improving the clubhouse facilities and pro shop offering to members.

The fusion of the old and the new that High Legh has nurtured has helped build a tolerant, family friendly atmosphere. One which welcomes members and visitors alike. At the sametime it is also a Club with a great course and facilities that is serious about its golf.
